Historic Restoration for The Gotel

This home had seen a series of botched renovations since it's initial completion in 1852. Restoring the home to it's historical context as a Charleston Single was an imperative task for the owners, architect, interior designer and contractors. Working with Andrew Gould of New World Byzantine and Flyway Construction, we were able to bring this dilapidated home back to its original glory and last for decades to come.

Everything that could be salvaged, was, from original exposed wood beams to heart pine flooring throughout. Details that could not be reclaimed due to negligence over time were recreated in the spirit of the original home, making the design feel truly timeless as if it had always been that way.
